All 15 Terrible Lizards achievements with global completion rates, unlock conditions, the missable Paleo Pals and the Dead by Daylight reward unlocks.
Terrible Lizards Achievements
Terrible Lizards has 15 achievements on Steam, worth 1,000 Gamerscore on Xbox and a platinum trophy on PlayStation. Most of them are story progress. The difficult ones are the collectible sets, and the single most missable one is "Paleo Pal Review," which requires interacting with four mascot talk boxes in the museum.
This page lists every achievement, its global completion rate and the fastest way to unlock it. The rates are from Steam's global achievements API on November 1, 2026 and will drift as more players finish the game.

The exact in-game descriptions are shorter than the table's wording. The rates are the achievement percentages, not estimates.
Only about one in a thousand players has finished the collectible sets. The items are not hard to see; they are behind one-way drops and scripted events that most players do not backtrack through. The collectibles page explains the routing.
Story achievements
Seven achievements are automatic if you finish the game: Welcome to Dalton's Dinos, Welcome to the Underground, That's DINO-mite!, Slime-o-saurus, Finally, Join Us for a Bite and How Was the Fall?. The last two are technically optional, but almost every player unlocks them by playing normally. "Join Us for a Bite" requires being caught, which happens to 63% of players; "How Was the Fall?" requires a fall death, which happens to 88%.
If you are speedrunning the story, you cannot miss these. If you are trying to avoid them, you can, but there is no reason to.
The missable ones
Paleo Pal Review is the achievement most players miss on a first run. The four Paleo Pal talk boxes are in the museum in Level 1. Each one is a mascot suit with an interactive prompt. Interact with all four before leaving the museum, because the chapter does not bring you back.
The mascots are Benji, Alistair, Stephanie and Dennis. Their species and roles are covered on the characters page.
Kick the Rock and Globe-fetti are one-off interactions. The rock is in the museum's fossil hall; the globe is in the same area. Both are easy to walk past. If you are cleaning up achievements, do them before the first chase.
The collectible achievements
Audiophile requires every audio tape. Bingo, Dino DNA requires all 16 amber samples. Pterry's Scrapbook requires every note. You Go Here requires all four stuffed animals. Hoarder requires all of the above.
The amber samples are the most important because every fourth one unlocks a New Game Plus modifier. The New Game Plus page explains the modifiers. The collectibles page covers the Chapter 2 note that blocks most 23/24 runs.
The modifiers make some routes easier and some harder, but New Game Plus keeps your collectible progress. Use it to reach the items behind one-way drops without replaying the story from scratch.
Dead by Daylight rewards
Two achievements unlock Dead by Daylight cosmetics:
- Welcome to Dalton's Dinos unlocks a DBD badge and banner.
- That's DINO-mite! (finish Level 2) unlocks a dinosaur charm.
To claim them, open the main menu, select the Dead by Daylight rewards option and follow the code prompt to account.bhvr.com. The rewards are tied to the crossover bundle, but the achievements are the unlock condition, not a purchase.
The reward code is generated in-game. If you skip the prompt, you can reopen it from the main menu, but you need the achievement on the same account. Do not delete the save before claiming.
PlayStation and Xbox
The achievement list is the same on all platforms, but the trophy and Gamerscore values differ. PlayStation has 16 trophies (a platinum plus the same set), and Xbox totals 1,000G. The unlock conditions do not change.
The game does not have a difficulty-related achievement, so you can play on the setting that suits you. Accessibility options do not disable achievements.

FAQ
How many achievements are there? 15 on Steam. PlayStation adds a platinum for 16 trophies.
Which achievement is missable? Paleo Pal Review is the one most players miss. The collectible sets are also missable if you do not backtrack.
Do collectibles carry over to New Game Plus? Yes. The game tracks them across runs.
Do achievements unlock DBD cosmetics? Two of them do: Welcome to Dalton's Dinos and That's DINO-mite!.
Is there an achievement for the secret ending? There is no secret ending. "You Go Here" is the stuffed-animal achievement, and it does not branch the story.
Can I get 100% in one run? Yes, if you sweep each chapter before the one-way drops and interact with all four Paleo Pals in Level 1. Most players need a second run for the notes.
The achievement list is short and readable. The story ones come naturally; the collection ones reward patience. If you are going for the full set, start with the walkthrough hub and keep the collectibles page open while you play.
